Useful Extras - Yahoo Answers

This is a very quick and easy step to implement that will allow you to get an ad on page 1 of Google and Yahoo.

Follow the below steps and watch the magic happen.

Step 1 - Create an account with http://answers.yahoo.com

Notes: When creating an account use a dummy/marketing name, any D.O.B, select US as the county and make sure the post code has 5 digits. Store your password and username somewhere safe as you are going to use this first account allot.

Step 2 - Now you have created an account it is worthwhile uploading an avator.

Notes: I would only advise changing the avator, there is no need to edit anything else, remember to save changes when you are done.
(You will use this account to answer questions)

Step 3 - Choose Keywords you want to get on page 1 of Google for. Make sure you follow the same principals when doing keyword research as I showed you in the original “Get an ad on Page One Of Google”.  You can find this by clicking the following link or copy and pasting into the URl: http://www.moneyonaplate.com/SkyPage.asp?pg=42

Note: Long tailed keywords will work better and make sure the competition is not to high.

Step 4 - Create another Yahoo Account as you did in Step 1. You will use this account to ask a question.

Notes: Do Not ask more than 4 questions using one account. Create a new account once you have asked 4 questions. If you plan to duplicate this process  and create more than 15 Yahoo accounts use different IP’s. You can do a search in Google for “IP changing tool”.

Now ask a question use the following example as a guide. This will be based on the keywords “Ford Mondeo Deals”

EXAMPLE:

Questions Headline/Title = “Where can I find Ford Mondeo Deals?”

Questions Detail/text = “I want a ford mondeo and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get information on ways to pick up good deals.”

Step 5 - Answer the question - Login to the account  you created in step 1 (the one with the avator). Search for the title of the question you asked with your other Yahoo account.

Note: Sometimes it can take a little time for your question to appear.

Now answer the question.

Example Answer = “I am a mad car fanatic and I found a very useful website for deals on allot of different ford models. Here is a link that will take you straight to the mondeo deals page “Put Your Website address Here”

Notes: Make sure your website address is relevant to both the question and the keywords - DO NOT JUST SPAM - MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS DELIVER QUALITY.

Step 6 - Wait exactly 4 hours then login to the Yahoo account you used to ask your question and select the answer you submitted from the other account as the best answer.
Wait about 5 - 10 mins and viola you have an ad on page 1 of Google.

Make sure you rate the answer 4/5 or 5/5 and leave a thank you message.

Example Thank You = “Thank You, I had a look at the site and there is allot of great content that everyone should consider to help them find great deals on the Ford Mondeo!

Step 7 - Very Rarely needed 

Notes: If for some reason your ad does not appear on  page 1 (This may happen but will be rare), simply use social networking sites to add a couple of  back links.
 

Example = Join Digg.com, then copy and paste the url from your yahoo answers page into the submit a link with a brief description.

ADDINTIONAL NOTES:

Change - Create a new account to ask questions after you have asked 3 - 4 questions.

Keep - Use the same account to answer all questions to build credibility & points.

Improve - To improve your ranking with yahoo answers click the thumbs up using different IP addresses.
