Article Marketing - Keyword Tips and Advise.

Before you follow the tips/advice here i would advise you follow the tutorial video "Getting Started With Articles". To view this tutorial video "Click Here". This video will take you through the basics: How to source/join article websites, How to source/submit article content, and How to ensure you have a link that directs the reader of your article/s to your available eProduct/s.

I am going to teach you a method here for finding keywords that you should use for your articles that will drive you  good volumes of targeted traffic. This method has been in use successfully by internet marketers for years however is rarely talked about by the so called “Gurus”. I can not take credit for inventing this method, however I will take credit for sharing it. The credit for inventing, or at least being the first to share this method goes to Travis Sago, who calls this method “Bum Marketing”. I have thoroughly tested this method and it does work so implement it today and incorporate it into your Daily Action.

I will start by giving you a break down of exactly how this method works and then I will provide you with step by step instruction on how to do it:

1. You research long tailed key words with 1000 plus monthly searches. (Note: This method does work with short keywords as well but can take a bit more research to find them)

2. You then check Google to source which of these keywords have low competition. (under 7000 results)

3. You write an article incorporating the keywords you have found, and a link to a product you want to promote.

4. You Submit the article to directories that Google prefers, for example Ezinearticles.com and Squidoo.Com

5. You receive front page status on Google for your article, this leads to good volumes of free targeted traffic. After that simply sit back and wait to be paid.

I will now explain step by step exactly how you carry out each of the above steps in this method.

Step 1. Finding Keywords;

The first thing you need to do is decide on which product you want to promote, you can search through the products that are already uploaded on the website with sales pages or search the list for a new one to be uploaded, alternatively you can use keywords to refer people under your own referral link to the website. For the purposes of demonstration I will do an example of both here.

EXAMPLE 1 is based on the “Fly Fishing - How To Angle Like A Pro” eProduct that is already available to you.

To complete step 1 go to: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Now search Long tailed keywords relating to “Fishing"

You can see in the example below that i have searched for "Fly Fishing Tips"

Google will now show you results for exactly how many people made a search last month for the keyword you typed in, Google also provides a list of related keywords with monthly search volumes.

You generally want to find keywords that have over 1000 global monthly searches.

See an example below of the related keywords Google has found:

We can see above that "trout fishing techniques" was searched for on Google 2900 times last month.

Step 2. Now we have found a keyword relating to our fishing product with over 1000 searches we need to establish how much competition there is on Google, to find out if this is a key word phrase that will be worth writing an article on.

You now need to go to a Google search box (this can be found at Google.com), and perform a search to find out how many results will come up for this keyword.

In Step 1 we found the keywords "Trout Fishing Techniques" had 2900 monthly searches. To find out the competion you need to type "Trout Fishing Techniques" in the google search box. Note: Ensure that you put your keywords in inverted commas (Quotes " ") this way Google will only display exact matches. You can see in the example below that Google has found 6350 results for the keywords "Trout Fishing Techniques".

Step 3.  As the results came back under 7000 for the keywords "trout fishing techniques", we know that if we write an article using these keywords a link to this article will a appear on page one of Google in front of 2900 prospect visitors each month.

So now you would write an article, with a title like "Trout Fishing Techniques - In This Article I Will Reveal Two Trout Fishing Techniques". (Notice i mentioned the keywords twice in my title, this helps - so when possible DO IT)  The article itself would explain two trout fishing techniques, if you did not know two you would take from someone else's article/video etc. and re-write. Ensure you have a link to your "Fly Fishing - Learn To Angle Like The Pros" sales page in the resource box.

Step 4. Submit the article to article directories, like ezine articles.

Step 5. After that simply wait for a link to your article to appear on page 1 of Google.

Additional Notes: 

If you are serious about making "BUCKET LOADS" of cash article marketing, you are going to want to write 2 articles every day (about 350 words each article, this will take about 1 hour a day). Making sure your article incorporates keywords with over 1000 monthly searches and under 7000 competitor results.
